Who Has the Most Likes on TikTok?
Two different records hide behind the question: the account whose videos have collected the most likes in total, and the single video with the most likes.
Who has the most likes on TikTok? Among the platform's biggest creators, Charli D'Amelio does, with about 12.3 billion likes on her account as of mid-September 2026, far ahead of Khaby Lame, who has more followers. The most-liked single video is Leah Halton's February 2024 lip-sync, at roughly 77 million likes.
Those two answers measure different things. An account's like total is the sum of every like on every video it has ever posted, so it rewards years of steady posting. A video's like count is one moment that took off. Charli built hers over thousands of videos; Leah Halton's record came from one clip.
The like total on a TikTok profile is the number shown next to Following and Followers: every like that account's videos have received, added together. It's public on every account, and it's why the most-liked list and the most-followed list don't line up.
The figures here come from the public tallies on Wikipedia's list of the most-followed TikTok accounts, dated September 17, 2026, and from its articles on the record videos. Live trackers such as Social Blade move every hour and round differently, so expect small gaps between any two sources on any given day. Treat every number below as dated, not permanent.
At the scale of these accounts, likes come from enormous real audiences watching over years. At the scale of a normal creator, a single video's like count is what a new viewer reads in the first second, next to the view count. That's the number TikTok likes add to, one public video at a time. It changes the count people see, not how far the For You feed carries the video.
Which TikTok accounts have the most likes?
Among the ten most-followed accounts, as listed on Wikipedia on September 17, 2026, the like totals rank like this:
- Charli D'Amelio: about 12.3 billion likes, with 160 million followers.
- Addison Rae: about 5.3 billion likes, with 87.8 million followers.
- Kimberly Loaiza: about 4.3 billion likes, with 83.5 million followers.
- FIFA World Cup: about 3.2 billion likes, with 85.4 million followers.
- Khaby Lame: about 2.7 billion likes, with 162.9 million followers, the most-followed account.
- Bella Poarch: about 2.4 billion likes, with 91.7 million followers.
Why Charli is so far ahead
Volume and timing. Charli D'Amelio posted constantly through TikTok's fastest growth years, and each video added to a total that never resets. Khaby Lame's silent reaction videos built the larger following, but with fewer posts each collecting likes, the sum stays lower. Likes reward how much an account has posted and for how long, not only how many people follow it.
What is the most liked video on TikTok?
As of October 2026, the record belongs to Leah Halton, an Australian creator whose February 2024 lip-sync video, set to a YG Marley song, passed the previous record holder. Wikipedia's article on her puts the video at about 77 million likes and more than a billion views.
The video it overtook is Bella Poarch's lip-sync to M to the B, posted in 2020. That clip was TikTok's most-liked video for years, and Wikipedia's article on the song lists it at more than 70 million likes as of February 2026, now in second place.
Both records share a format: a short, looping lip-sync with a facial performance people replay. Neither came from an account with a huge audience at the time. That's the clearest illustration of how TikTok works: a single video can reach far beyond its creator's followers when people watch it through and replay it.
Who has the most followers on TikTok?
Khaby Lame, with about 162.9 million followers as of September 17, 2026, narrowly ahead of Charli D'Amelio at 160 million and MrBeast at about 140.9 million. TikTok's own account, Bella Poarch, Addison Rae, Willie Salim, Zach King, FIFA World Cup and Kimberly Loaiza complete the top ten on the same list.
The ranking at the top has been stable for a long time. These accounts grew when the platform was younger and the competition for attention was thinner, and they keep growing because every new user is shown the creators everyone already knows. Who has the most followers on Instagram describes the same pattern on Instagram, where the top of the list barely changes from year to year.
Do likes on TikTok count the same as followers?
No. A follower is a person who chose to see more from an account. A like is a reaction to one video, and the same person can like hundreds of an account's videos. That's why the profile like total can be dozens of times larger than the follower count, as it is for every account above.
The two numbers also do different jobs. Followers decide who sees a new post in their Following feed. Likes are one of the signals TikTok reads when it decides whether to show a video to more people in For You, alongside watch time, rewatches, comments and shares. How the TikTok algorithm works goes through that testing cycle.
For reading an account's health, neither number alone is enough. Likes divided by views, per video, says far more about whether people enjoy the content than either total does. How to calculate TikTok engagement rate shows the formula.
How do you see total likes on a TikTok account?
Open the profile. The like total is the third number in the row under the profile picture, next to Following and Followers, on every account, including private ones. TikTok abbreviates large numbers, so 12.3B means about 12.3 billion.
For a single video, the like count is on the heart icon at the side of the video as it plays, and in the grid view of some profiles.
For your own account, TikTok Studio, the creator tools inside the app, shows likes per video and across a chosen period, which is more useful than the lifetime total because it shows which recent videos actually earned them. The lifetime total never goes down from inactivity; it only falls if videos are deleted or likes are removed.
Can you hide your like count on TikTok?
Not the totals. As of October 2026, the like count on your videos and the like total on your profile are public, and there's no setting to switch them off. What you can hide is the list of videos you've liked: the Liked tab on your profile can be set to visible only to you in Privacy settings.
People often mix those up, and can people see your likes on TikTok walks through what can and can't be hidden, step by step.
Since the count stays public, it's the number viewers read. On a new video with a few hundred views and a handful of likes, that first impression matters, which is why some creators buy TikTok likes for a fresh post. It changes the visible count only. It doesn't add watch time, and it doesn't put anyone on the list above. Every TikTok guide and service is on the TikTok page.
