On the profile, not on an answer. Travels with every answer you write, including future ones.
3 services available
Quora has three services here and they attach to different objects: views and upvotes go to a single answer, followers go to your profile. The pages below carry the rate, the minimum and the delivery window that apply right now.
On the profile, not on an answer. Travels with every answer you write, including future ones.
The counter a reader reads as a verdict, and the one visible in the answer order on a question page.
The cheapest of the three, at under a dollar per thousand. Ordered against one answer URL.
This is the part people get wrong on Quora more than anywhere else, because the three counters live in three places.
Views and upvotes belong to one answer. If you write ten answers, an order touches the one URL you paste and nothing else.
Followers belong to your profile and travel with you across every answer you write, including the ones you have not written yet.
Upvotes are the one Quora users read as a verdict: the answer sorting on a question is visible to everybody, and an answer sitting at the bottom reads as one the room already judged. What we can say is that the number changes; what nobody outside Quora can tell you is what their ranking does with it.
